ABOUT US
Jadavpur University is a State University in the state of West Bengal and is one of the foremost Universities in India. Noted for the technical education that it imparts through its faculty of engineering and technology (FET), it also has a vibrant science and humanities department which encompasses a wide range of subjects.
Jadavpur University has today established itself as an internationally acclaimed university committed towards advanced study and research. It offers a vast repertoire of transformational courses, employs the best minds in its faculty and produces some of the greatest talent that propel organizations in and beyond India. It was the result of the efforts of these accomplished individuals that the Alumni Association in Mumbai was born in the mid 1956. The aim of the organization – to ensure that the knowledge, character and relations developed within the ramparts of one of the most respected colleges in the country do not fade away amid the monotony of everyday life.
VISION
Alumni Association of NCE Bengal & Jadavpur University Mumbai, visualize a world, where the essence of Universal brotherhood and humanity should be put on high priority and benefit of technology should be permeated to general masses.
Association and its entire fraternity want to see our beloved motherland to become a developed country within a decade and wish all the JU-ians to contribute to the economy nationally and internationally.
MISSION
To foster the spirit of brotherhood among the ex-students of the Jadavpur University (J.U). To promote co-operation and mutual help amongst the ex-students of the J.U. in Mumbai. To foster the growth of healthy fellow-feeling and to promote common interest to maintain the feeling of unity amongst the ex-students of J.U. along with their family members. To organize and develop the activities of the ex-students of the J.U. on matters such as social, economic, educational, technical and philanthropic.
